The break in our weather has caused my mind and heart to be far from the internet and blogging.
It seems the outdoors is calling my name and asking me to come out and play. I am happy to oblige.
I took a picture of some of my crocus.
They are nestled in a bed of spruce ground-cover. I’m not sure why the background came out all black, but I liked the look.
I have parsley plants, basil, oregano, chives, sage, thyme, and rosemary all lined up in my sunroom about to jump out of their pots.
I have to hold them back because I have allowed them headroom one time too many and ended up with dead plants.
I hope we have learned our lessons about setting out tender plants way too early.
I have also started some okra from seed.
It will be my first attempt to grow this, but I am sure I wouldn’t set it out until much, much, much later.
I am also working on getting things ready for my daugher-in-laws babies shower.
I did say babies shower because how else do you hold a shower for twins?
Oh and by the way they are both boys.
Anyway if you don’t see me around much I am having a blast so don’t worry..be happy!
My mind is so removed from cooking right now.
How exciting! My husband has twin brothers (fraternal), and I love hearing the stories his mom tells about raising them. It’s double happiness for sure! Enjoy!
Enjoy the weather! Look forward to hearing if your Okra grows though! I love the stuff! Beautiful pictures of the Croci too!
My crocuses are done but the daffodils are blooming and the tulips getting ready.
Today the peach trees burst into bloom….I love spring….except for all the d— work!
I like the photo as is, too.
Man..I so need spring to be here now!
